This Lovejoy F Type accessory kit consists of the gasket, bolts, and nuts for a specific Sier-Bath flanged sleeve gear coupling (not included), and is suitable for assembling that coupling. The paper gasket fits between the flanged sleeves to help retain the coupling lubricant. The steel bolts and nuts clamp the flanged sleeves together for a friction fit, and are heat treated for tensile strength and coated for corrosion resistance.
