[/wpsm_inline_list]An Amsterdam-based startup, WeTransfer was launched in 2009, and since then the company has become one of the premiere services for easy file transfers. As of 2015, WeTransfer had 25 million users, with 70 million files getting transferred every month.
WeTransfer is for anyone who wants to transfer large files, quickly, without having to sign up for a new service. For personal users, WeTransfer provides a 2GB limit, and the recipient can download a file within seven days of it getting shared.Users simply add their files by clicking the big + button, add the email address they want to send the file to, add their own email address, and click Transfer.
The WeTransfer iOS app allows users to collect pictures, movies, documents, or songs from any apps into one place. Users can organize and view on visual boards from any location, and share boards of any size with colleagues, friends or family. The Android app allows users to send files from any location on any Android phone. Users simply tap the file(s) they would like to transfer, choose “share” and select the application in the sharing options. Users can also upload files straight from their desktop via WeTransfer for Mac and share the download link.
Business users, on the other hand, can get a premium subscription to the service, and send up to 20GB files in one go, decide a custom time limit for a file’s deletion, and set a password for each file transferred.
Plans include:
It is really easy to use Wetransfer, since you don’t need to do any kind of previous action such as filling in a form, confirming your email account or any other similar thing, which only wastes our time. You don’t have to ceate an account, nor does the person receiving it need to take any action prior to receiving or downloading it.
It offers many opportunities for speed at work, saving time and expenses trying to find another application or medium that performs what this platform can do. Anyone can use it, so you do not have any knowledge is that there really are many steps to use.
Transfers made with WeTransfer Plus can also be protected with passwords, and files can be stored for as long as possible. Users can also delete, resend, and forward transfers. The interface is user-friendly and the main menu is simple enough even for people who are not tech-savvy. Transfers can also be sent via Twitter and Facebook, thanks to the share button.
To upload a folder, all you need to do is drag and drop the folder from your device onto the transfer page. In order to keep your files and structure intact, your recipient will receive the transfer as a .zip file, but this won’t change the layout or quality of your files in any way.
While you are transferring through WeTransfer, you may come across a wallpaper which catches your eye and the thought races through your mind – “I need to see more! Who is the artist?”. You can actually just simply click the wallpaper and you will be brought the blog “WePresent”..
