A standalone service, starts at $50 per month and serves to give Buffer Publish users deeper insight and data analysis. Some of the basic analysis features of previous versions of Buffer have been expanded in Buffer Analyze. Do consider that Buffer Analyze is so new that companies who want to use it need to sign up for early access. In the Posts tab under Analytics, Buffer Publish gives you post-by-post totals of comments, likes, clicks, reshares, retweets, mentions, and potential reach depending on which kind of post you’re looking at. You can also sort the post feed a lot of different ways, with the most recent posts as the default. In Twitter, for instance, you can sort by most or least popular by retweets, likes, replies, clicks, or reach, or sort all posts by those with links, text, images, or only retweets, and do so over a custom date range.

Paid Features:
Buffer offers a paid plan, named Pro, which gives paying users access to additional features, such as the Feeds feature that adds an RSS feed to a user’s Buffer profile, displaying suggested links from external websites chosen by the user. Additional features include analytics for the number of posts sent out and the number of active users over a span of time. The plan also allows an increased limit of 100 posts at any single time, and the option to manage 8 social account profiles. On August 6, 2019, Buffer announced a new feature for paid plans – the Hashtag Manager. The new feature allows paying members to create and save groups of hashtags directly within the Buffer composer.
Buffer for Business:
- Buffer for Business is an extension of the Buffer application intended for managing social media accounts for businesses and corporations. It launched in 2013. It contains a similar interface to Buffer, but with additional features, including:

- Easy
The ability to edit the display of the link preview. The title, description, and image contained on the content card that shows up in Facebook, LinkedIn, or Twitter feeds, for example. If the link doesn’t automatically pull an image, Buffer Publish lets you upload and format your own in addition to adjusting the link preview’s title and descriptive text. Buffer Publish also includes GIF functionality, allowing the social curator to replace the link preview with a GIF or video. Buffer Publish’s built-in video player also grabs a screenshot from every 15 seconds in the video for use as a featured image when promoting the post. The image-focused posting features are the best of any third-party social publishing platform I’ve used, and uploads happen quickly with few or no errors. Buffer Publish is also one of the few platforms that give you multiple link shortening options.
Buffer is perhaps one of the simplest & easiest social media platforms on the market today; offering comprehensive and crucial features for managing your social media streams. This platform allows for the easy management of multiple social media accounts, allowing you to customize post-times & days, and then schedule posts quickly via the Queue only for those days. It offers built in analytics, direct posting to Instagram & Instagram stories, team management features & more – assuming you are willing to pay for those features.
FAQ
Supported social networks and message types by Buffer Reply:
Reply currently supports Twitter, Facebook Pages, and Instagram Business Profiles. Here’s a run down of the types of messages we’re currently able to pull into Reply:
Twitter: Public tweets (any post in which your Twitter handle is @mentioned, including replies on posts and ads), direct messages, and searches (e.g. keywords, hashtags, etc)
Facebook Pages: Comments on posts and ads, visitor posts, private messages, and recommendations
Due to API limitations, it is not currently possible to pull in mentions of your Facebook Page that have been posted anywhere other than your Page. For example, if a user @mentions your Page on their own Profile, or another Page, this would not be pulled into Reply.
Instagram Business Profiles:Comments on posts and ads
Due to API limitations, it is not currently possible to pull in Instagram Direct Messages.
Can I track project expenses as well as time in Tick?
No. Tick provides a straightforward way for you to track time against a time budget, but doesn’t work with dollar amounts at this time.
Can I invite my entire team to track time on Tick?
Yes. Once you’ve set up your Tick account, you’ll want to invite your team to join you in Tick from the “Team” page. This is where you can send out invitations and give access to everybody in your organization.
